Read all of Pioneer Solar's Google reviews hereThe Pioneer team delivered a complicated ground array solar system for our growing homestead's needs. Our install had several elements: the solar array, multiple subpanels, cable routing, power wall with batteries, meter tie-in, backup loads, and smaller details like an outlet here and there. Communication was good throughout the project from the core team of Sean, Trevor, and James. When occasional challenges arose, Trevor and James advised me and we worked towards a quality solution. In addition to the quality work and attention to detail, the crew was always great with my family. Other companies were intimidated by the scope of our project, but Sean and team jumped in and welcomed the challenge to show their (obvious) talent.
Pioneer Solar has been terrible to work with. The system that was not installed as designed and often goes offline. I have had a true up with PGE every year since installation and this year it is $3,000. My backup batteries have never worked properly and it takes them months to come out for service calls and months to get parts for those repairs. I wish I had gone with a different company.
Their Ca.Contractors License was revoked 7-2023 yet they are still contracting work. They lied to me from day one 7-2022 and my system is still not right. They would know this if they had monitored the system like they say. Sean now has offered to get my SGIP if I pay him the last little bit owed, This was part of the contract to start with. I had to hire a reputable company to file my application., because of their abandonment of my contract. So Please do your homework and check them out on the contractors website
