Our mission is simple: help California solar buyers find trusted installers faster and with less guesswork. We bring clarity to the crowded solar marketplace—so you don’t have to spend hours doing it yourself.

We organise the site primarily by location so you can find solar installers near you quickly and easily

What We Do

Solar Installer California (SICA) is building a smarter way to choose a solar provider. We gather data from public sources like Google Reviews, and soon from platforms like BBB, Facebook, ConsumerAffairs EnergySage, and SolarReviews.

We're even working on a public social media sentiment analysis bot to track, categorize, and weigh Americans' opinions on platforms like Reddit, StackExchange, and even city-specific forums.

We compile all of this into one composite score—what we call the SICA Score—so you can compare companies quickly and confidently.

How It Works

We aggregate and analyze public data to give you a clearer picture of a company's reputation. From customer reviews and ratings to social media sentiment, our system helps uncover consistent themes—whether it's glowing customer service, delayed installs, or pushy sales tactics.

We're also experimenting with sentiment analysis across platforms like Reddit to track brand mentions, themes, and customer feedback in real time.

Why We Built This

No single review site tells the whole story—and that's frustrating. We created SICA to combine multiple viewpoints into one easy-to-use platform. Instead of sifting through scattered reviews, typing "solar installer near me" for the umpteenth time; you’ll have the confidence to choose a reliable solar installer near you—all in one place.
