Solar Negotiators | Best Solar Companies in Bakersfield, California

We've been on line for 1 year now. More positives than negatives. We got a pricey systen with 3 back up batteries so neither the government or PGE could shut us down. We're on a ranch, no electricity: no water. Solar Negotiators has great customer service, has kept us on line, and stands behind their product. We've had issues and delays. We were down for a month due to a faulty inverter. But, all issues were addressed and compensation made. We've never been charged for a service call. I read many of the other reviews and still have concerns if the grid goes down, but have no regrets for hiring Solar Negotiators and recomend them without reservation.

Posted 07/09/2024. They want me to give a review. Well, here it is! Well, it starts out great, and then it ends up like any other contractors job, having to keep them in check. I told them what I wanted, then they designed something else, I wanted the majority of panels at the peak cress of the roof, instead they designed them at the bottom in the shade of the tree line, so they finally changed that design after talking to the designer. They came to install it and I told them because of the type of roof tiles to access it from the back yard and do not walk on any of the front tiles of the house while installing system because it is possible to break them. This was discussed with the salesman at the very beginning of the sale and he said they would order tiles of the same color to match just in case they broke any in the area of installation, everything was settled. Installation was great until the end of it, then they decided to walk across the front of my roof to unload their tools at the driveway from work that day and broke several tiles, I had taken pictures of my roof before so I would be able to remember and prove if there had been any damage occurred during installation, so I knew what was damaged. I called the salesman to make them aware of this, it was final handle they would come and fix what they broke and left them, after an agreement they settled to replace them. The day they came to repair them, they showed up with uncolored tiles of gray/concrete color, and my roof was a light brown/mud color. So now, every time I walk out my front door, I see the gray color tile on my roof, and it is very noticeable. They still haven't replace them with what was agreed in the very beginning, that was the only things that was a disappointment with thier services, the lack of communication between salesman, designers, and workers of the installation. I've called them to fix these issues of the uncolored tiles, but it goes on ignored, I'm still waiting for them to respond and resolve it after 2 years.

Very responsive to my concerns. Onsite support has been excellent. A few minor glitches along the way and maybe some user error on my part. Starting to think this is gonna be ok. Just need to see my 1st PGE bill. Monitoring system is great. Looking forward to my onsite scheduled orientation date for: 8/16/2024 12:30 PM. I expect to have a much better understanding of what is going on with our system after that and how better to optimize our savings while improving our in home comfort.

We were happy to get solar. We shopped around and felt this was our best option. They drew up the job for our house they said we would need 18 panels. They are way off. So now we will need to add more panels. We had budgeted for the 18 now we don't have enough money to add to our under developed System. We contacted the guy who sold us the system never got a response about our fourth try we got a response. He told me he would look into our situation and get back with me. Never got back i left 2 messages no response. We are Very Unhappy with Solar negotiators. If we had to do it again it would be with another company. We are kinda stuck with what we have.
