Michael Edwin has been an outstanding sales person. He was able to guide me step by step despite all the challenges and he was always ready to help and answer my questions. The process was really the downside like he mentioned but in the end we were able to get our panels and look forward to a lower utility bill. I highly recommend Michael.

This might be a long review but please bare with me. I would honestly rate Sunrun a 100x lower than what you can on here. Our experience with Sunrun has been horrible. It started off with a roof leak when my wife and I bought our home. We didn't know why it leaked but after looking into it, it seemed to have come from one of the solar panels leg bracket that was anchored into our roof. We contacted sunrun and they sent one of their techs to check it out and they confirmed it was because of the installation. So they send their team out to remove the panels. And afterwards all they do is try to patch it with Henry's roof tar. But it kept leaking, and we contacted them again and told them we were still having an issue. So they sent another tech to confirm and again it was still leaking in the same spot and they confirmed it. Our case manager (who i won't say because we were tossed around through so many of them we didn't know who our case managers were) told us they'll send someone to patch it again and i told them no I want it completely fixed, so to go through this quickly it took them 2 years to finally fix the issue. And mind you the panels had been off for that time. They had sent over 5-6 techs and about 3 roofing contractors to look at the same leak we were having. But here's the kicker, the 3 roofers told us our roof wasn't even up to code and that sunrun should have never put solar panels on our roof. They said we needed a new roof. So after about 4 months of not hearing anything back from sunrun I get a call from Superior roofing in Bakersfield CA. That they're going to redo our roof at sunruns expense. Now here's where it gets ridiculous. I got a call from a NEW case manager Javall Brown, she was nice and was being very helpful until... in our contract it states that we get a performance guarantee if our panels aren't meeting the amount of energy they're supposed to be producing. But Javall Brown told me they couldn't do that and that because our case was a special case they're going to issue a full compensation for our true-up bill for the 2 years the solar panels had been off. Those 2 bills were about $4,100!! So I said perfect. I got a check in the mail for $1,912. I thought that's not correct so I called javall brown. I said wheres the rest of the money and she told me that the check was for what the panels would've produced in those 2 years. I said isn't that the performance guarantee she said yes and no, and said but you told me we were getting a full compensation for both true-up bills and that's what you state in the email she said no that there was some confusion. So here I am still trying to get this situated and javall brown doesn't answer my calls or emails anymore. And now eveytime someone tries to help me with the issue it take 2- 3 months for someone to contact me but it's the same thing, we can't issue you anything because we already did. Bottom line DO NOT get sunrun they are the worst. Going on 4 years of dealing with this issue.

My experience with Sunrun was really great. I worked with Alexis Alfaro. He was really patient and took time in explaining the entire process. I had a lot of questions and he answered each and every one of them. I've been on Solar now for more than a year now and have been really happy.
