Kiwa PVEL says 87% of manufacturers in its 2026 PV Module Reliability Scorecard experienced at least one failure in Product Qualification Program testing.
The scorecard also names 43 manufacturers as top performers and says no single bill of materials qualified as a top performer across all eight tests. Kiwa PVEL reports that module breakage in mechanical and hail sequences remained a leading failure category, while delamination affected 45% of manufacturers.
