LONGi and Enexus Sign 50 MWh BESS Deal in Romania

The agreement marks Enexus's first deployment of LONGi's liquid-cooled storage technology and one of the largest storage orders in Romania for the manufacturer.

LONGi and Romanian developer Enexus have signed a landmark agreement for 50 MWh of liquid-cooled Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Titu, Dâmbovița County, Romania. The deal marks Enexus’s first deployment of LONGi’s advanced BESS technology and represents one of LONGi’s largest BESS orders in Romania to date.

The 50 MWh deployment comprises 10 units of LONGi’s liquid-cooled utility-scale BESS solution, paired with integrated medium-voltage (MV) skid systems. The projects are designed to support energy shifting, capacity firming, and broader grid-support functions.

The agreement builds on more than 200 MW of LONGi solar PV modules deployed across Enexus projects since 2025. The Titu 1 project, with an installed capacity of 20 MWp and 15 MW BESS, is fully completed and awaiting grid connection. Titu 3, with 35 MW and 35 MW BESS, is currently under development.
