Energy Vault has acquired a portfolio of more than 15 utility-scale battery energy storage projects from Goshe Energy Storage, adding more than 2.3 GW of battery energy storage system (BESS) development to its asset base. The deal includes Goshe’s team of BESS development and management professionals joining Energy Vault’s ranks. The projects account for more than 2.3 GW of BESS development.
Two projects anchoring the portfolio are valued at 150 MW and 200 MW of storage, respectively. Set to reach commercial operation during Q1 2028, the projects are expected to generate about $30 million in combined annual run-rate EBITDA once operational. The acquisition expands Energy Vault’s development pipeline under its Asset Vault business segment.
