Four community solar projects in Delaware have moved forward through the state’s JobsFirst Permitting Accelerator, according to the Delaware Public Service Commission.
The projects in Seaford, Townsend, and Clayton are expected to represent more than 16 megawatts of solar capacity and more than $73 million in investment. State officials estimate the projects could reduce electricity costs by 10% to 15% for more than 16,000 Delaware households through community solar subscriptions.
