ETC 2026 to draw thousands to Toronto for clean energy conference

Electricity Transformation Canada returns to Toronto Oct. 19-21 with a focus on storage, grid modernization, and interconnection policy.

Electricity Transformation Canada (ETC) 2026 will return to Toronto this fall, running Oct. 19-21 at the Enercare Centre. The event, organized by the Canadian Renewable Energy Association (CanREA) alongside RE+ Events and the Italian Exhibition Group, is themed “Clean Power Nation” and is expected to draw more than 2,500 attendees and 200 exhibitors, surpassing last year’s record of roughly 2,900 professionals and 180 exhibitors.

Organizers highlight programming tailored to solar and storage installers, including sessions on electrical code compliance, retrofit strategy, and storage asset operations. The show floor will feature an Energy Storage Pavilion and a Start-Up Pavilion, alongside general exhibit categories for solar and energy storage systems, distributors, and smart grid technologies.

CanREA Senior Director of Member Programs Phil McKay noted the event’s focus on the technical details of storage integration and the convergence of grid-reliability voices, including NERC representatives, alongside equipment manufacturers and financiers.
